Biography:
Milo Bartok is what one would describe as a true fitness addict who just sort of fell into martial arts without even realizing it. Milo was first exposed to martial arts while at a local fitness centre that offered Boxing and lessons in the burgeoning martial art of Karate. Milo really had no interest in actually learning how to defend himself and wanted something with movements that fascinated him while providing another exercise outlet. The Karate club based out of the local fitness centre actually grew at an astounding rate and would become one of the top schools in his native Hungary. At the request of his sensei Milo initially competed in local point Karate tournaments and rose up the ranks to European wide championships. This gave Milo the opportunity to explore the rest of Europe and on a visit to Paris was introduced to the French martial art of Savate. Milo enjoyed the finesse apparent especially in the point Savate competitions which mirrored what he had done in Karate up until that point. Next thing you know Milo is now a strong representative of two styles Savate and Karate but has yet to compete in full contact competitions.
Sakakibara, the founder of Shoot or Die! visited Europe and had connections to senseis that were trying to spread the martial art of Karate across Europe. He was convinced to let Milo Bartok into Shoot or Die! by Milo's old Karate sensei who believed he needed to experience the true intensity of full contact.
Sakakibara remains skeptical of Milo's abilities in two areas, can he adjust to full contact and will his lack of grappling experience hold him back? Only time will tell.
